Seat of Hradec cultural and educational society can be found in Adalbertinum building, třída ČSA 300, right down-town of Hradec Králové not far from the historical city centre. The building preserved its original character despite of numerous modernisations and offers stylish premises for various types of events and activities. We can organize just about anything ranging from cultural and social events all the way to congresses, workshops, exhibitions, trainings, seminars or company presentation events. Adalbertinum offers halls, lounges and classrooms with capacity from 10 to 440 seats. Furthermore, we can offer all related services necessary for organisation of such events including state-of-the-art lighting, sound and imagining technology. Decoration services come as standard. Adalbertinum also houses a restaurant on the ground floor as well as a bar next to the main hall on the first floor. Our experienced staff recruited from renowned restaurants will cater for your taste starting with simple refreshments and ending with demanding banquets and dinners for large number of persons. All guests coming to Adalbertinum can make use of our private car park located next to the building.

FESTIVAL OF DANCE AND MOTION PRODUCTION – ENTRÉE TO DANCE
Hradec cultural and educational society hosts a number of prominent Czech and foreign dance companies dealing with modern dance art on annually basis. Entrée to dance is an integral part of Dance Prague international festival and offers a unique opportunity to take a look at the best Czech dance production in direct confrontation with foreign productions.

CENTRAL EUROPEAN JAZZ BRIDGE
Festival of Dixieland bands bridges the countries of central Europe through its partner cities in Poland, Hungary and Slovakia every year at the beginning of May. Well known Dixieland bands from all participating cities and prominent guests appear on the set lists of this festival.

HRADEC NIGHTINGALE
Hradec nightingale is a folk singing competition for kids and youth taking place in Adalbertinum every year in May.

KIDS DANCE FESTIVAL
End of May is reserved for young dancers and their art. Kids dance festival is also Czech Republic Championships of dance formations and the biggest meetings of children dance companies from the Czech Republic with the guests from abroad. More than 1200 young dancers take part in the competition that always excels with fantastic atmosphere and dance performances.

FOLKLORE FESTIVAL
Folklore festival Pardubice - Hradec Králové is an unequalled festival taking place in two neighbouring cities. This unique festival is now firmly rooted in the social event calendar of both East-Bohemian cities and takes place usually at the beginning of June.
This festival is the biggest celebration of Czech folklore giving enough room and attention to presentation of our cultural heritage in all genres in the natural environment of Perštýnské square and Pardubice Castle and at Šrámek?s farm in Piletice near Hradec Králové. Festival program comprises of not only main festival shows but also chamber music programs, scenic forms and entertainment programs.

NATIONAL PARADE OF MAJORETTES GROUPS
The city of Hradec Králové urges for parades of beautiful girls marching to the sound of vigorous brass band through the streets surrounded by architectural marvels. The national parade of majorettes groups takes place in the middle of September and the most popular groups from Czech Republic and from abroad take part.

Hradec cultural and educational society offers spaces suitable for various activities in the following buildings: ADALBERTINUM, MÉDIUM, CITY MUSIC HALL, ŠRÁMEK‘S FARM PILETICE, SUMMER CINEMA ŠIRÁK, YOUTH CENTRE, THE WHITE TOWER and other services of the Information centre.

Head office of the organization is situated in the building of ADALBERTINUM in the main street ČSA, in the centre of the city, at the edge of the monument zone. In spite of gradual modernization, the building preserved the original character and offers stylish setting for wide range of activities – from cultural and social to congresses, workshops, exhibitions, trainings, seminars and business presentations.

Restaurant Potrefená husa



The 20th jubilee Potrefená Husa restaurant in Hradec Králové filled up the last remaining blank spot on the map of counties. Now, in every county in the Czech Republic there is at least one branded restaurant based on the concept of Potrefená Husa. Potrefená Husa in Hradec Králové is situated in the historical building Adalbertinum, which was built between the years 1895-97 in pseudobaroque and secession style. In its capacity (165 places + 48 in the garden) Potrefená Husa in Hradec Králové is the biggest one out of the branded restaurants. The level of the service and gastronomy is of the highest standard, and in combination with a pleasant design oriented interior, a visit of Potrefená Husa in Hradec promises to be an exceptional experience.
